Place garlic, chili, and butter in the Thermomix bowl; chop 4 seconds at speed 5. Scrape down sides.
Sauté for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
Add prawns to the bowl; cook for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, reverse speed 1 with the spatula guard.
Add lime juice, salt, pepper, and cream; cook for 2 minutes, Varoma temperature, reverse speed 1 with spatula guard.
Toss cooked fettuccine through the sauce in the bowl, adding a little pasta cooking water if needed to loosen the sauce.
Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve with lemon or lime wedges.
