Prep carrots: Peel and cut into even-sized pieces (either sticks or rounds, about 1 cm thick for even cooking).
Season: Toss carrots in a bowl with olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper (plus optional paprika or garlic powder if you like).
Preheat air fryer to 190°C / 375°F. Spread the carrots in a single layer in the basket (don’t overcrowd). Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through for even roasting. Check for doneness — they should be golden, slightly crisp outside, and tender inside. Add a squeeze of lemon if desired.
